Vladka McCalley is the creator of Bozeman Medical Massage & Wellness, originally founded in 2003 as a European Massage Co. Born, raised and educated in the Czech Republic, Vladka graduated in 1994 as a physical and massage therapist. For the next six years, she served as a physical and massage therapist in Sano Center for the lead doctor of the Czech Olympic team. Vladka tirelessly pursues new techniques and further education. Her certificates include Medical Massage, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Lymphatic Massage, Hot & Cold Stone Therapy and Raindrop Technique.

The purpose for the company’s name change and expanding to wellness center was inspired by taking a Medical Massage Certification program 2 years ago and seeing a huge need in medical massage services and wellness in Bozeman. Vladka strongly believes that combination of medical massage and nutrition will greatly assist her patients/clients in better and long lasting results. Nutrition is a huge part of who we are and what is happening in our bodies and can have significant impact on any physical and mental conditions.

For the past eighteen years, Vladka has worked with a myriad of medical conditions. She has helped many clients relieve acute and chronic pain, improve their posture, gain flexibility, and simply relax. Vladka strongly believes that massage therapy should be part of everyone’s lives. Rather than just being considered a luxury, massage therapy should become an essential part of taking care of your body. Life can be enjoyed so much more without pain and stress. The benefits of massage therapy are greatest when used on a regular basis rather than waiting until your body feels pain or stress.

When not learning the latest massage technique, researching new health studies, or helping other’s achieve maximum balance and health, Vladka enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, tennis, skiing and yoga.
